Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- mochiko (rice flour)
- water
- dark vegan brown sugar
Directions:
1) Put a pot of water on the stove to
boil.
2) While you wait for the water to
boil, put however much rice flour you
desire into a bowl.
3) Add enough water to the rice flour
so that its easy to roll the mixture
into firm little balls. Roll the mix into little balls
about marble size, although it doesn't
really matter how big they are. Roll one, plop it into the boiling
pot of water, roll another, plop it
into the boiling pot of water, etc.
4) You'll know that they are finished
cooking when they float to the top of
the pot and so, as they finish, scoop
them out and put them into a bowl.
5) When they are all finished (they
are going to be all wet and slimy), mix a bunch of dark brown sugar in and
then eat them.
I's a Japanese dessert by the way.
